I recently pondered across a contrast that stayed with me:

The brain works continuously to reduce uncertainty, while the quantum world appears fundamentally comfortable with it.

And I haven’t stopped thinking about it.

Your brain is constantly trying to predict what comes next. Long before you consciously realize it, it is gathering information, comparing patterns, making estimates. It scans your environment and asks countless questions beneath awareness: Is this familiar?
Is this safe?
What should I expect?
